School Board Update

March 2025

Greetings from Hampton School Board!

The Board believes that it is important to serve as a communication conduit for the citizens of Hampton. If you have been unable to make a meeting, don’t worry! We are excited to share positive news periodically through this newsletter.

One positive update we’d like to share is our ongoing commitment to financial responsibility. While the tax levy naturally fluctuates as needed, we are pleased to note that the tax levy decreased this year.

Additionally, the board remains engaged in professional learning, particularly in the area of special education. By deepening our understanding of the special education process, we aim to provide even stronger support for all students and families.

We also completed a Self-Evaluation Process where we engaged in discussion and set goals for our board for the remainder of this year and the following year. As a result of this discussion, we are committed to:

  1. Keeping goals set forth in the “forefront” of monthly board meetings and discussions.
  2. Engaging in ways to communicate more frequently with the citizens of Hampton and all stakeholders.

Be on the lookout for more positive news from the Board! We appreciate the continued partnership of our school community as we strive for excellence in all we do!
