We hope you had an amazing January! We're now looking ahead to February and this month we're focusing on kindness. Next week we'll be providing our students a "Kindness Card." This is a card that looks like a bingo card, but each spot has a different act of kindness. We're encouraging our students and staff to intentionally fill out their whole card. Don't worry, we have more cards that have different acts of kindness so you can fill out multiple cards. You can read a little more in the news story below.
Conferences are next Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00-7:00. You may have already received communication with your child's teacher about this, but if you would like to schedule a conference, please reach out to your child's teacher. You can also email Dr. Klipsch to help get something scheduled.

Candy Grams
Send a special treat to your child, friends or teachers in celebration of Valentine's Day. We will be sending out Airheads on Feb 13th. Valentine's Grams are $0.50.
Please have your child fill out the Candy Gram Form and send it to school by Feb 5th. All Valentine's Grams sent in after the due date may not be accepted.
Random Acts of Kindness Month
On February 17th, wear your favorite shirt or outfit that represents the message of kindness.

From The Carnival Committee
Carnival is fast approaching! Carnival this year is April 25th from 6-8pm. In order to make Minute Madness Carnival a success we need your help! Below are some ways you can support us.
Amazon Wish List
Thank you to everyone that has already purchased something off our Amazon Wish List for Carnival. We appreciate your support. We have a few more items left from our Amazon Wish List if you would still like to purchase something.
Volunteer
We need about 100 volunteers to make Carnival a success this year. Our goal is to have all volunteer spots filled by April 1st. For every shift that someone volunteers they will receive 5 raffle tickets to use during the carnival. Sign up to set up, work both shifts, and clean up will give you $20 free dollars in raffle tickets! Volunteer Here.
Donations/Sponsorship
In a few weeks be checking in your child's bookbag for a way to help our school carnival through a donation, becoming a classroom sponsor or Hawk sponsor.
