Kids Run the Show: Junior Achievement of the Heartland, in collaboration with Vibrant and QC Storm, invites 4th-6th graders to participate in a job shadow experience highlighting careers in business, marketing and sports entertainment. Students will take over the work responsibilities of the Storm staff (with assistance) during the final home game of the season. From DJ-ing to ticket sales, selling merchandise, and on-ice activities, the kids will be running the show! CLICK HERE to learn more.

The Quad City Symphony Orchestra invites Hampton School District families and teachers to attend Masterworks VI: Rhapsody in Blue for free! Immerse yourself in a night of landmarks by celebrating the centennial of Gershwin’s piano and orchestra masterpiece, the premiere of Angel Lam’s evocative new work, and culminates with Prokofiev’s powerful Fifth Symphony.
Masterworks VI: Rhapsody in Blue (100 minutes) April 5, 7:30 PM, Adler Theatre - Davenport, IA April 6, 2:00 PM, Centennial Hall, Augustana College – Rock Island, IL
Select a concert that works best for you, and tickets will be available at the Will Call table under “Hampton School District.” A reminder message will be sent from QCSO staff the week of the concert to families. Registration is open through Wednesday, April 2.
